November 1, 2024: Fortitude welcomes new program associate - Amanda Jones

The team at Fortitude has grown! We welcome Amanda Jones as a primary contributor to our program, and to the lives of our participants. Amanda has spent the majority of her career dedicated to bringing the Arts to underserved and marginalized populations. With more than a decade in nonprofit management, Amanda has a deep understanding of the impact that organizations like Fortitude can have on individuals and the community as a whole. Through her experiences as an educator and a day program supervisor, Amanda has been committed to advocating for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as children of all ages. She thrives in environments where compassion comes first, and she consistently promotes person-centered approaches in curriculum building and program support. Her work has always been grounded in empowering others and helping her students and clients advance in personal growth. We are delighted that Amanda will be bringing her considerable skills to the Fortitude program!
